Moral:
The goal of going against our better judgement hopefully is because we trust something deep down in ourselves that gives us the strength to achieve something larger.

Achieving Power:
Today, I found myself intwined with two top 50 smash bros players in Canada who are strategically focused on the task at hand. There is one mantra to this game which is the "hyyuuhhh" and it means"kill to make progress". They are a lot better then me for sure, but I would like to bring attention to the fact that they never considered the many ways that these players are really indistinguishable. The brothers were calling eachotehr gay, saying things were weak and when one died it was always due to the players ability. The way I beat them was because when they die they only see the other possibilities, rather then enjoying the level, characters and people they were playing with. So when I sensed that they were getting annoyed, or not respecting me I was able to land one or two punches to get them ready to kill me and then attack them.

So you could ask why did I keep playing even though these were clearly people much more talented then I was? Because no matter how much I felt like they were more focused on being the best at the game then whether or not we were all getting better, the situation offered a second important lesson. That smash bros is still progressive, and 100 years ago we would never have had this opportunity and so I am thankful that I have made the effort to get better at it. I can't except the way that they look at the game but it is a great way to spend time and so I should keep playing with them but I know that if they ever wanted to work with me in real life, they would not be allowed to manage a team.
